International Jewellery Fair – 2 - 4 September 2012

Now in its 21st year, the Sydney jewellery fair had humble beginnings. From its first exhibition in a hotel ballroom in 1991, it has evolved in to a true international standard jewellery trade event.

Now held at the prestigious Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, the International Jewellery Fair (IJF) is the preeminent industry event each year. 

The four-day fair focuses on retailers and other professional buyers and presents more nearly 300 exhibitors of fine and fashion jewellery, gold, sterling, platinum and diamonds, as well as market leading watch brands. 

Jeweller publishes the official trade fair directory which is distributed to all visitors and exhibitors free of change. Jeweller also manages a range of other promotional activities for suppliers including the extremely popular Visitor Showbag, full of prmotional give-aways for retail buyers.

Brisbane Trade Fair Directory

Brisbane Jewellery Fair - 25-26 March, 2012

Held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Brisbane Jewellery Fair is the second largest trade event in Australia and New Zealand. Launched in 2002 to accommodate retailer demand post-Christmas, it brings jewellery and watch suppliers together with qualified buyers.

The fair attracts visitors from around Australia, but mainly the northern States. Many visitors attend from New Zealand.

Melbourne Trade Fair Directory

Melbourne Jewellery Fair – 4 - 5 March, 2012

The Royal Exhibition Buildings first hosted the Melbourne Jewellery Fair in 2010. Launched to service Australia’s second largest market, Melbourne, and to better accommodate southern State businesses, this trade show will become an increasingly important event on the jewellery industry calendar. 

Compared to the International Jewellery Fair in Sydney, MJF is promoted as a low-key, low-cost event for top-up business after the Christmas and New Year sales periods.
